MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The ReDriven Control System is
revolutionary in the Small Wind
segment of the Wind Turbine indus-
try. This system connects the
customer in real time to their wind
turbine, supplying key performance
data such as wind speed, power
production, wind direction and the
ability to turn the turbine on and off
from any internet connection in the
world. When customers purchase a
ReDriven Wind Turbine, they will
see their own personalized Power
Curve and be able to review their
power production both in real time
and historically. All this at no
additional cost with free software
upgrades as new features and
functionality are added.
Behind the scene managing all
this information is ReDriven’s pro-
prietary software WindView. Wind-
View is a fully functional Customer
Relationship Management system
combined with ReDriven’s turbine
management software. The turbine
management software provides 3
levels of access depending on the
user’s requirements. The first level
of access is the customer view.
WindView provides the customer
with their own personalized
password-protected web page, which
permits the customer to see and
manage their turbine, track their
power production both in real time
and historically, as well as, turn it
on and off as desired.
The second level of access is at
the dealer level. The dealer can
review the power production of their
customers’ turbines, as well as,
receive emails from the turbines
identifying specific fault conditions.
This proactive notification of poten-
tial problems and existing problems
generates an email through Wind-
View directly to the dealer’s service
department, thereby creating a
service call to inspect the turbine
and deal with the pending or exist-
ing issue. The Dealer network uses
WindView to manage their customer
relationships, generate annual
service reminders to clients and
develop estimates for the sale and
installation of the wind turbine
systems.
The third level of access is at the
manufacturer’s level. This level of
access allows ReDriven to remotely
download software updates and
settings, monitor historical data
against real time data and compare
performance metrics to see if a fault
condition is developing, and to
manage the turbines located
anywhere in the world to work with
utilities.
