CANADIAN INDUSTRY ONLINE - AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2012
Another huge area for MTS is on
golf course turf. MTS Turf Pro prod-
ucts have a certification that enables
golf superintendents to use their prod-
ucts without having to report them
as pesticide use.
“
The pesticide use
program is called
the Integrated Pest
Management Ac-
creditation Pro-
gram (IPM), which
is incredibly strict with what they are
allowed to use to treat their courses. It
takes hours upon hours to record all
the information and the superinten-
dents need to continually attend semi-
nars annually to keep their IPM titles.
So it’s a huge relief to course owners
when they are able to treat their cours-
es with our prod-
ucts and not waste
the time and energy
recording.
MTS has come a
long way, even ap-
pearing in an exciting piece for Lon-
don Free Press—talking about how
their products can revolutionize fast
food process efficiencies. The company
has been rewarded for its continued
innovation with accolades across On-
tario: MTS was presented with the
Goderich & District Chamber of Com-
merce Spirit of Success Award in Janu-
ary 2011.
The company
also received the
TD Friends of
the Environment
award sponsored
by TD Friends
of the Environment Foundation. This
award has provided more than $54
million in support to more than 19,500
grassroots environmental projects,
validating the true environmental suc-
cess story that MTS represents.
With continued innovation and
a dedicated team, the sky is the limit
for MTS product
development.
