that the Komoka Community
Wellness and Recreation Centre, a
307kW DC rooftop solar facility
located in the Municipality of
Middlesex Centre, has been
commissioned and currently await-
ing Commercial Operation under
the Ontario Power Authority’s (OPA)
Feed In Tariff program.
The Komoka project features
NorthGrid’s unique elevated truss
system (ETS) thus providing
ongoing roof access as well as great-
er module density along with
improved performance to the
Municipality. The ETS system is
best
suited
for
industrial,
commercial or institutional build-
ings with little or no roof deck sup-
port for rooftop solar energy systems.

ation complex with twin ice pads

NorthGrid Solar is scheduled to
complete additional ETS and ballast
mount projects ranging from 40kW
DC up to 700kW DC throughout
Ontario.
