GLOBAL RENEWABLES ONLINE - JANUARY 2012
WIND - RES PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
project. RES’ investigations have
demonstrated that the area
experiences a good wind resource,
and is within a feasible distance to a
suitable grid connection point. The
wind farm region is also appropri-
ately zoned in the local planning
schemes, and has a low population
density. The project site is also
sufficiently large to provide the flex-
ibility to design a wind farm layout
to avoid any major ecological,
engineering or technical constraints.
