The Amazing Grace orphanage
in Southern Sudan had
insufficient infrastructure to
accommodate children without
parents from the country’s
civil war. Several of Enviro-
Steward’s partnering firms
contributed towards building
construction materials and
Enviro-Stewards donated a
water treatment unit to provide
safe drinking water.
Bruce Taylor traveled to Sudan
(January 2004) to set up a
drinking water system and to
help construct the dormitories,
washrooms and bathing
facilities. He returned in 2006
to expand the orphanage and
again in 2007 to teach a local
non government organization
how to construct affordable
drinking water treatment
systems.
