protection against prof it margin
erosion in future years.
Our drinking water is collected
from surface water intakes and
ground water recharge areas.
Source water pollution preven-
tion assessments can protect
these water sources.
Over 1.1 billion people world-
wide lack access to safe drinking
water and sanitation. Our Sus-
tainability Credits provide a
mechanism to “replace” water
consumed in the developed world
with the provision of an equiva-
lent quantity of safe drinking
water in the developing world.
TOXICS REDUCTION
Enviro-Stewards offers you
compliance and beyond-compli-
ance recommendations attractive
returns on your investment. Our
unique approach can discover
signif icant savings while analyz-
ing compliance issues.
OUR APPROACH
Enviro-Stewards deploys a
multifaceted Pollution Preven-
tion approach to reduce toxic us-
age concurrently with other re-
sources (utilities, ingredients,
hazardous waste, etc.). You gain
the advantage of attractive re-
turns on investment (versus net
expenditures that typically re-
sult from single-media reduction
of a targeted toxic ingredient).
ACCESS INCENTIVES
Facilities in the Greater To-
ronto Area (GTA) can secure co-
funding for multimedia toxics
reduction assessments through
the Toronto Region Sustainabili-
ty Program (TRSP).
In support of Ontario’s Toxics
Reduction Act (TRA) legislation,
the province has commissioned
a number of toxics reduction
demonstration assessments. For
example, Enviro-Stewards is
presently completing toxics re-
duction demonstration assess-
ments at three electroplating fa-
cilities.
