editor’s
note
This issue, we look at the astounding growth
potential of the Atlantic Canada business
landscape, as part of an ongoing partnership
with the Atlantic Provinces Chambers of
Commerce. While we know that certain regions
in Canada have struggled, 2011 was a momentous
year for many business on the east coast. We will
continue to promote projects and people who are
making the eastern provinces a better place to
live, including companies like Seagate
Construction who have managed to do very well
in the last few years despite a shaky economy.
We have spoken with Premier Darrell Dexter
about the enormous renewable potential in the
provinces, and the willingness of Atlantic Canada
to work together on projects that will inf luence
overall economic growth going forward. Next
month, we will continue to show what eastern
Canadian business are really made of, and will
share the remarkable story of DSTN Trenton and
the company’s commitment to local employment
and renewable energy potential.
