TIFF RISING STARS
The initiative immerses four selected actors in
a series of public events and private industry
meetings at the Toronto International Film
Festival. They receive intensive professional
development with international casting direc-
tors, filmmakers, producers and development
executives. Moreover, the Stars will be front
row centre at some of the biggest red-carpet
events at the Festival. Conducted over three
exciting days, TIFF Rising Stars is part of our
ongoing commitment to promoting Canadian
cinema and talent on the world stage.
TIFF KIDS
TIFF Kids is one of the largest children’s film
festivals in the world! Presented each April,
the festival offers a diverse slate of program-
ming from Canada and around the globe,
using the power of film not just to entertain
children and parents but also to foster new
ideas about the complex issues facing young
people today.
Whenever possible, we include an opportu-
nity to engage in discussions with filmmakers
and special guests to further explore ideas,
themes, storytelling techniques, and much
more.
With TIFF Kids, you can be sure the time your
family spends in the theatre will be more
than just a day at the movies.
