HI LE NOT AN
official arts and enter-
tainment issue of CIO, this month we
celebrate those aspects of Canadian culture. One
of Canada’s oldest ski resorts turns 50 this year,
and we talk to the man who runs the family ski
hill in our Sports Series. As a film lover myself and
avid TIFF-goer over the years, I’m over the moon
about our cover interview with Toronto Interna-
tional Film Festival CEO Piers Handling, who
celebrates 20 years at the helm of the event this
year. Really, you should check out all of our con-
tent this month. But I have to admit, I’m pretty
excited about our arts related content including a
contribution from the Canadian Council for the
Arts. And did you know that the Rogers Centre is
25
this year? Read on. There is so much in Canada
to celebrate in 2014. Send us your commentary,
articles for consideration and ideas to

Until next month,
