editor’s noteAboriginal business: a topic drawing our attention inwards this month. Generally, we like to show Canadians the breadth of indus-tries and sectors that inject economic strength into our communities. This month, that means we’re focusing strictly on one aspect of our nation’s di- versity. We take a look at several national organi- zations dedicated to the success of First Nations economic development. On the shortlist is the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation, the Industry Council for Aboriginal Business, a com- pany in BC dedicated to matching up Canadian Aboriginal businesses, and we also reflect on a couple of heavy-hitters we’ve covered in the past: Manitobah Mukluks and the Blood Tribe. This is an especially important edition of Cana- dian Industry. We are honing in on businesses and organizations that are putting Canadian people first. Therefore and without further ado, let me introduce you to our cover interviewees: the heads of mining and manufacturing for ArcelorMittal in Canada. Please proceed and enjoy this edition - and send me your feedback!
