editor’s noteWith the Conference Board of Canada this week forecasting lower economic growth than previously anticipated for 2015, it seems thatconfidence in the Canadian economy is wavering. These worries have permeated the media and businesses all over the country, with companies choosing to cut spending as a precaution. However, with everything that Canada has going for it when it comes to potential and inter- national investment appeal, there is reason to be optimistic. It is with this sentiment in mind that we cel- ebrate one area of the country that is seeing a very fruitful economic period: Nova Scotia. Premier Stephen McNeil spoke with me about the current state of economic growth in the province, and what is in store for industrial development. In the long run, it is not what happened yes- terday that will shape the country’s growth to come, but what Canadians do to push ahead and continue to show the resilience that has made us one of the most incredibly adaptable and strong nations in the world. Canadian business will con- tinue to thrive, as will Canada’s people.Talk to you next month,Sara KopameesEditor in Chief
