FUTURE
GROWTH
For now, AccuPipe is working
on finding the right people to grow
the business, and those people have
the same mentality as the company’s
founders. “We can’t operate like a big
company, because we aren’t one—we
have to be flexible. We attract people
that want to be part of a growing, flexi-
ble company,” Unrau comments. How-
ever, although AccuPipe and Precision
Land Solutions are becoming leaders
in the Manitoba agriculture industry,
the agriculture community is still a
relatively small one. Companies must
rely on each other even if they compete
in the same market, and Unrau is fa-
miliar with this fine line.
We can’t produce the full rep-
ertoire of product we need, so we still
have to work with our competitors to
fulfill our requirements. There’s such a
cooperative spirit in this industry,” he
concludes.
In the longer term, there are plans to
maintain the Precision business, and
expand the AccuPipe plant capacity
in both volume and product line. The
company will seek new customers in
Manitoba, but also venture into the
Saskatchewan market—continuing
their vision of helping premier grow-
ers for years to come.
