SHRADER
Snowden notes. “When they have a
problem, we’re the first company they
come to.”
The company always looks to support
a customer’s need for Service Chemi-
cal Solutions from concept to comple-
tion, showing true commitment to
customers.
SERVING THE DOMESTIC AND
INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
Notably, the Shrader team behind
so much success has seen little turn-
over. The family business prides itself
on its creativity and ability to stay
flexible, and the entire Shrader team
is devoted to the end goal. “When a
situation requiring a solution arrives
on my desk, it becomes a Shrader op-
portunity,” Snowden says.
The company’s compliance de-
partment is second-to-none. “We have
international OEM clients that will
run their products by our compliance
department for review and approval,”
says John.
The company serves customers
in 26 countries and is well-recognized
in all. The latest big development for
Shrader is Titan, a brand of chemical
cleaners lubricants and performance
enhancing products for the automotive
and industrial markets. Titan offers
OEM approved formulas in a national
brand. The Company’s next big mar-
ket: developing more solutions for the
maintenance of machinery.
Shrader also commits to a greener
environment, which is important for
their industry. “Environmental chal-
lenges are huge. There are so many
regulatory agencies, but they keep us
accountable,” Snowden notes. “If you
can come up with a better product,
that is one thing, but you have to make
sure it’s environmentally sound.”
THE NEXT 60 YEARS
To help kick off the company’s
next 60 years, Shrader Canada Limited
will for the first time be exhibiting at
the 2014 AAPEX (Automotive After-
market Products Expo) at the Sands
Convention Centre, Las Vegas. Shrader
Canada will have 400 square feet dedi-
cated to showcasing Shrader Canada
and the Titan line of products and ser-
vices. AAPEX is the largest automo-
tive industry show in North America.
AAPEX is attended by buyers and end
users from across the globe.
When it comes to the future, the
company’s website says it all: “At
Shrader Canada Limited, we will con-
tinue to foster co-operative and mutu-
ally rewarding relationships with all
our customers, as well as among the
dedicated and talented people who
make our company the global success
it is.”
The company welcomes chal-
lenges. “We see a lot of opportunity
in the international markets: including
India, China, Middle East, Caribbean
and South America,” Addison says.
We are respected worldwide for our
innovation and quality and we want
to grow our business in the industrial
markets. We want to know what they
need and develop products for them
including the off highway and on-
highway markets: trucking, construc-
tion, mining, and the oil patch.”
John adds: “Our objective is to provide
solutions to problems. We are known
as the premier OEM automotive chem-
ical supplier in Canada. When there is
a problem, the first call is to Shrader—
our reputation and our history are our
strongest assets.”
We run this company like a family,”
Addison concludes. On what seems
like a perpetual upswing, Shrader will
see success for the next 60 years—de-
veloping solutions for the automotive
and industrial market, regardless of
how much they change.
