guaranteed.”
The products have been intro-
duced to customers all over Canada.
The PERMA-SEAL® line of products
are essentially flexible resins that are
injected into a concrete crack from the
bottom up, all the way through the
wall to the outside. This resin forms a
flexible, watertight seal that is able to
shift with the foundation as it expands
and contracts when the temperature
changes—meaning spring time leaks
are no longer as issue when the ground
thaws.
The PERMA-DRY system has rev-
olutionized basement repair: basement
leaks can now be fixed from the inside,
in any environmental conditions and
in any season, without a complete up-
heaval of a homeowner’s basement on
the inside or their landscaping on the
outside. According to the company,
cracks can even be repaired while wa-
ter is pouring through them.”
COMPANY GROWTH AND
FRANCHISING
Once we had the right solution,
that’s when the company really took
off. Originally using conventional in-
jection products and procedures was
very time-consuming. Now, with our
pre-measured, pre-packaged PERMA-
SEAL products we can do an average
injection in 3-4 hours and it’s perfect.
What we’ve done is really revolution-
ary—we started locally doing repairs,
but have grown into an international
company,” Danny comments.
With an original franchisee in Cape
Breton, and several more businesses
signing on to operate under the PER-
MA-DRY® brand, the company gained
strength.
As the word spread that we
were franchising, expansion came very
rapidly. We were ready and estab-
lished,” Danny explains. The company
didn’t have to do much in order to
attract franchisees with such a long-
standing reputation. “They came to us
